Leon Lindsay-Russell
Lead Physiotherapist / Director
With a deep passion for golf and surfing, Leon truly understands the values and importance of a balanced and active lifestyle beyond the workplace.
Leon has over a decade of experience working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in private practice. He has a special interest in managing neck pain, headache, shoulder pain, post-surgical rehabilitation & sports injuries. He also has a special interest in working with aspiring and high performance golfers and golf related injury. He is skilled in and utilises an extensive range of techniques, including massage, joint mobilisation / manipulation, exercise prescription, education and acupuncture / dry needling.
He is qualified with a:
Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy)
Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Western Medical Acupuncture)
Foundation & Advanced Dry Needling Certificates
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certification
Leon has a history of working with both amateur and professional athletes. He is a current physiotherapist on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia, leading the Quinovic NZ PGA Championship and ISPS HANDA Japan-Australasia Championship.
His accolades include being awarded with the John Morris Memorial Prize in 2015 for being the best student clinician and earning top clinical grades in his final year as a physiotherapy student.
Magnus Wildt Dalsgard
Physiotherapist
Magnus is a Danish physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University College Copenhagen from 2021.
He has over 3 years experience in private practice, post-surgical rehabilitation in hospital settings, home physiotherapy, and working with high-performance athletes in Danish football clubs Roskilde Boldklub AF 1906 and Hellerup IK
He is an active person with a strong passion for sport, especially football, which he both plays and coaches at Birkenhead United AFC.
Magnus utilises a holistic, patient centered approach, combining exercise based rehabilitation and education with manual therapy to support long term recovery and optimise performance.
Macarena Carrascosa
Receptionist
Originally from Argentina, Macarena is a roller skating performer, coach and club president who brings a wealth of administrative experience and organisational expertise to our front-of-house.
Mac is well known within the roller skating community as the club president and head coach of North Shore’s competitive artistic roller skating club. She has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in sport & exercise science and psychology, providing a massive role in her high-level sport coaching and event management and making her a calm and capable presence in the clinic.
Outside of work, you might see Mac running with her dog Lola, or she could be parked up at Bon Pinard or the beach.
